Synopsis: On a sunny afternoon in his apartment in Paris, the killer Mireille Bouquet receives a strange email from Kirika Yuumura, a young student from Japan, inviting her to "pilgrimage to the past" together. Initially, thinking that E -mail makes no sense, she changes her mind when she starts playing a song she recognizes from youth.
When they are personally, the two are suddenly ambushed by men who use weapons. While Mireille is able to move away from the attack, she discovers that Kirika is quite adept at combat situations after taking several gunmen on her own. Despite his proficiency in killing, Kirika regrets her inability to feel remorse for her victims. In addition, Kirika apparently has no memory of how she acquired the skills she has or even her real identity.
Feeling the shared story between them, Mireille agrees to join Kirika and together they board a journey to discover the mysteries of their past. Operating under the "Noir" codename, the duo's fragile alliance is tested when they begin to accept jobs, each approaching them to the truth of who they really are.
