Synopsis: It is the year 0079 of the universal century. Humanity moved into space, living in groups of colonies known as "sides". One of these sides declares the "Principality of Zeon" and declares war at the Federation of Earth, the government organ that currently rules the Earth. Using powerful humanoid robots known as "mobile suits," zeon quickly gains the advantage.

Nine months after the conflict, the Earth Federation developed its own powerful mobile costume named Gundam. When Zeon launches an attack on the colony that holds Gundam, a 15-year-old Civil named Amuro Ray suddenly finds himself thrown into a conflict that will take him all over the earth and space, placing him against the enemy's driver Char Aznable.
