Synopsis: In the advanced empire of Wahrheit, where technology and magic are intertwined, a shadow of panic rises with rumors of the return of a cataclysm known simply as the "light". Innumael Grauer, a haulier struggling to support himself and his sister amidst financial difficulties, finds himself in trouble when he is accused of arms smuggling when a mysterious package he shouldn't have been carrying is found in his possession. Leocadio Wöhler, a rookie soldier, arrives on the scene to help him, unaware that he is about to become involved in a complex plot that links the corruption of criminality with the rigid control of the empire. As the two try to unravel the webs of betrayal and survival, an unexpected connection with the syndicate responsible for Innumael's disgrace could be the key to his redemption, challenging not only their lives, but also the fate of the empire itself.
