Synopsis: Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machinart was founded alongside the development of "Machinart", Machine Magic capable of bringing life and intelligence to mechanical dolls later called "Automaton". Its goal: Train qualified puppets to control automatons, as the military worldwide began to incorporate Machinart into their armies.
After failing miserably on academia admission tests, Raishin Akabane and his humanoid automaton Yaya should defeat one of one hundred students to gain the right to participate in the night party, a struggle for supremacy among puppets who use their authorship. The last position is granted the title of "Wiseman" and granted access to the powerful forbidden arts.
So Raishin challenges Charlotte Belew and his Sigmund automaton to a duel, but even before they start, Sigmund is attacked by other students. After saving his opponents from his strikers, Raishin cancels the duel, but is forced to look for a new way to gain access to the party. Driven by the tragedies of his past, Raishin fights alongside Yaya climbing to the top and claiming Wiseman's title.
