Synopsis: In a blink of an eye, thirty thousand confusing Japanese players are taken from their daily lives in the world of the popular MMORPG, to Elder Tale, after the last update of the game - united to leave. Among them is the socially clumsy university student Shiroe, whose confusion and shock lasts only a moment as a veteran of the game, he immediately proposes to explore the limits of his new reality.
Shiroe must learn to live in this new world, leading others and negotiating with NPC's "natives" in order to bring stability to Akihabara's virtual city. He joins his unfortunate friend Naotsugu, having first logged in years to be arrested, and Akatsuki, a small but fierce killer who labeled Shiroe as his master. A tale of fantasy, adventure and politics, Log Horizon explores the elements of games through the eyes of a master strategist who tries to make the most of an intriguing situation.
