Synopsis: A young wave master, known only for the pseudonym of Tsukasa, wakes up in a MMORPG named The World, with slight amnesia. He doesn't know what he did before he woke up. In the world, Crimson Knights suspects he is a hacker, as he was seen following a character adjusted in the form of a cat. Unable to get out of the game, he wanders in search of answers, avoiding the knights and other players he finds along the way.

While Tsukasa explores the world, he stumbles into a magical item that assumes the form of a "guardian" that promises to protect against all damage. Subaru, the Crimson Knights leader, along with several other players who became familiar with Tsukasa, decided to investigate why Tsukasa can't get away and try to get to the bottom of the problem before he went out.
