Golden Kamuy
Synopsis: In the early 1900s, Hokkaido, after the Russian-Japanese war, Saichi Sugimototo prevented himself tirelessly for gold. Nicknamed "Sugimoto, the Immortal" for his acts that challenge death in battle, the former soldier seeks fortune to fulfill a promise made to his best friend before being killed in action: supporting his family, especially his widow who needs treatment abroad by your deteriorating view. One day, a drunk companion tells Sugimoto the story of a man who murdered a group of Aini and stole a golden fortune. Before his police arrest, he hid the gold somewhere in Hokkaido. The only track of his location is the coded map that he tattooed in the bodies of his cell phone colleagues in exchange for a part of the treasure if they could escape and find it.
Sugimototo doesn't think much about the story until he discovered the drunk man's corpse with the same tattoos described in the story. But before he can collect his thoughts, a brown bear - the cause of man's disappearance - encompasses Sugimototo, with the intention of finishing his meal. He is saved by a young girl Aini named Asirpa, whose father was one of the murdered Aini. With the hunting skills of Asirpa and Sugimotototo's survival instincts, the two agree to join forces and find the hidden treasure - one to recover what was right her people and the other to fulfill the desire dying of his friend.
