Satsuki and Keiichirou Miyanoshita are two brothers recovering from his mother's tragic loss. After moving to their mother's hometown, they learn that the local school to which they have moved is an old building - which is said to be haunted. Although initially ignoring it as a silly rumor, the two soon discover that the ghosts are really real and that they are behind them! Gakkou no Kaidan is the scary tale of these brothers' lives and their new friends as they try to survive the school ghosts - with a little help from the pet cat along the way.
