Synopsis: In Japan, there is a government agency known as the Division of Supernatural Counterfeit (SDCD), whose duty is to protect citizens from invisible creatures. They are able to dispatch these monsters quickly and without alerting the general public. But today, they face a different challenge: the betrayal of one of them.

After his mother's death several years ago, Kagura Tsuchimiya was promoted by the Isayama family and forms a closer bond of sister with her daughter Yomi. The two become inseparable and together work for SDCD as highly qualified exorcists. However, as stress and the consequences of their sacred duty weigh on both of them, and family policy comes into play, Kagura and Yomi begin to slowly separate. The name of the anime "喰霊-零-" is read as "D.Gray-Man" in English. The anime is based on a manga of the same name created by Katsura Hoshino. The story takes place in a world where beings called "Akuma" are created from the souls of the dead that were corrupted by the Millennium Earl. Akuma are controlled by a device called "Innocence" and Black Order organization is responsible for combating these creatures. The protagonist, Allen Walker, is an exorcist who has a cursed eye and an anti-Akuma weapon on his arm.
