Synopsis: A year ago, a UFO containing 150 aliens crashed on the shores of Kasai. As no one could repair their ship, the Japanese government decided to grant them the designation "dear ones" and turn them into Japanese citizens by teaching them the language, customs and culture of Japan. However, in order for them to become familiar with human society, a stay-at-home program has been enacted to allow them to mix with other humans.

One misty morning, a truck carrying a capsule that housed one of these aliens ends up throwing it onto the riverbank, releasing it from its confinement. She is found by a high school student named Takeya Ikuhara, who saves her from being hit by a truck and takes pity on her, despite being extremely suspicious of her race and wanting nothing to do with them.
