Synopsis: Kazuki Muto, a high school student, finds himself in a nightmare when he tries to save a mysterious girl, Tokiko Tsumura, from a monstrous homunculus, only to be attacked and die. However, his story doesn't end with his death; Tokiko uses an artifact called Kakugane to revive him, implanting it in his chest and transforming him into a bearer of power. With this new heart, Kazuki gains the ability to create the Buso Renkin, a unique weapon capable of confronting homunculiar threats, and joins Tokiko in the fight against these creatures and their evil master. As they face challenges and revelations, Kazuki discovers not only the value of his new life, but also the deep bonds that form in the battle against evil.
