Synopsis: Ryouta Sakamoto is unemployed and lives with his mother, being his only real achievement that he is the best player in Japan of the popular video game on -line Btooom! However, his peaceful life is about to change when he finds himself stuck on an island in the middle of nowhere, with a small green crystal incorporated in his left hand and without memory of how he got there. For his shock, someone decided to recreate the game they like in real life so much, with bets being life or death.
Armed with a bag full of unique bombs known as "Bim", players have the task of killing seven of their fellow participants and taking their green crystals to return home. Initially condemning any form of violence, Ryouta is forced to fight when she realizes that many of the other players are not as welcoming as they seem. Joining Himiko, a colleague Btooom! Player, they try to get out of the island together, getting closer and closer to the truth behind this death contest.
