Synopsis: With great advances in technology, humanity has created Hies, human robots that act as public and personal servants for society. Unlike many others, the high school student, Arato Endou, treats it as equal, but his financial situation prevents him from having one.
However, your normal life is broken when a common race for the local supermarket gives terribly wrong. Vivively beaten by a hacked Hie, Arato is about to be death; But fortunately, he is saved by an abnormal HIE carrying an armed coffin. Its name is Lacia, one of the highly advanced Hies who recently escaped to the clutches of the mysterious corporation of Memeframe.
