Synopsis: Death is one of many mysteries that have left humanity in the dark since the beginning of time. However, the ardent question of what happens to the soul after one dies is soon answered to 17 -year -old Yuzuru Otonoshi. Waking up without previous memories in a dimension between life and death, he discovers the disturbing truth of death after death.
Taking the form of a school, this bizarre dimension is designated to house those who died unwanted deaths. Feeling harmed by God during their earthly lives, the school's residents decided to form the battle front after the death-rebel faction determined to oppose its president of the God, Kanade "Angel" Student Council. Group leader Yuri Nakamura recruits Otononashi in his fight against Angel in order to take control of his own lives. However, questioning the morality behind his actions, Otonashi takes a step behind the enemy lines to understand the opposite side of his common destiny.
